Growing Choice of Parents

We are happy to share the experience of Mr. Anand Keloji and Mrs. Mahalakshmi Keloji, parents of Kailash Keloji (Grade 9).

We are delighted to share our feedback regarding Open Minds World School. I always wished my son would open up about his feelings, as he usually wouldn’t share much. After joining Open Minds World School, he has started expressing himself more freely and has become much more confident. He has also developed an interest in sports and other cultural activities.

He is becoming independent in all aspects. At Open Minds World School, children are encouraged to learn on their own without depending on others. This gives them the confidence to handle their studies independently as they progress. Students learn through various activities such as planting, preparing for school functions, and much more.

As parents, we feel proud and grateful to see our child becoming responsible and confident.

The teachers at Open Minds World School are extremely caring. We never feel like we are leaving our child in someone else's hands because they take care of the kids with so much love. They teach with patience and without raising their voices, which truly makes a difference.

We are very happy to see our son growing under such love, care, and patience. Thank you for everything you do for our children.

When our son Vishwaraja joined Open Minds World School, he was initially hesitant about the self-learning approach. Over time, he has grown confident and now genuinely enjoys learning independently. The introduction of AI has greatly increased his curiosity and interest in learning.

Beyond academics, the emotional growth we have seen is remarkable. He now feels secure, happy, and deeply connected to the school, which he considers an extended family. The nurturing environment, mixed-age learning, and respectful communication by mentors have helped him become more independent, expressive, and empathetic.

Within a year, Vishwaraja has become self-reliant, understands concepts more easily, and has shown clear improvement in handwriting and spelling. While English communication remains an area of growth, we truly appreciate the holistic development and thoughtful learning culture at Open Minds World School.

My daughter Shanvi, who is now in Grade 2, took a long time to start working independently. Last year, she spent most of her time in the admin area until January, and only after that did she slowly begin moving to the working areas.

This year, she plans her daily work independently and completes it as well.

OMWS gave her the time she needed to adjust and never forced her to complete the work. As parents, we were worried at times, but seeing her development this year, I can proudly say that giving her the time she needed was truly worth it.

The best policy I always appreciate in your education system is self-learning. Having been in the teaching profession for 20 years, I genuinely feel worried about the new generation, which has become so dependent on notes and ready-made material just to pass exams. The surprising part is that even in engineering, students expect their teachers to ensure they pass, to provide all the material, and to do everything needed for them to clear their exams.

Where is the real learning then? And now Gen Z expects that it is the teacher’s responsibility to secure them a 20 LPA job.

All I expect is that my children learn to identify their own interests and prepare themselves independently—without depending entirely on someone else—to walk toward their dreams.

I meet students who spend four years in college without knowing how to prepare for even a simple test. I am not exaggerating when I say this truly scares me, and I don’t want my kids to become like that.

This is my main reason for choosing a different kind of schooling. I am very sure about one thing: even if my son or daughter wants to do something as simple as starting a shop, they should know that they like it, and they should be capable enough to prepare themselves for it.

We Paavana parents we would like to share a few words about my 6-year-old daughter’s journey at Open Minds World School. She joined the school about a year ago. In the initial days, she was very shy and found it a little difficult to communicate, but with the loving support and encouraging environment at school, we have seen a beautiful change in her.

Over time, she has started speaking more openly with everyone and has become much more confident. The school’s focus on self-learning has helped her improve a lot in her learning skills as well. We are especially happy to see her interest grow—she has now started reading small storybooks on her own, which is a big milestone for us.

We truly appreciate the way the school values children, respects their pace of learning, and nurtures them with care and patience. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a warm and supportive space for our child.
